TWV/STS Bike Camp - Trailside Mechanics
Two Wheel View, in conjunction with Strathcona Tweedsmuir School (STS) Summer Camps, will be running a 5 day trail-side bike technician course for youth ages 14-17. This program will take place at the STS campus where students will ride mountain bikes on the local campus trails, develop basic trail-riding skills and etiquette, learn how to maintain their bikes, and troubleshoot mechanical issues on the trail. Whether you enjoy urban riding or exploring wilder trails this is a great opportunity to improve basic riding skills and experience the empowering feeling of taking your mechanical aptitude to the next level. Participants will be provided with a trailside toolkit, in-program snacks, and can inquire about bike rentals if necessary.
The course will run as a half-day split program with other STS offerings, beginning at 9:00am and running till 12:15pm.
